Answers: Some women enjoy tested 9 or 10 DPO and gotten a positive. Most women need more time to show a positive. It all depends on the women and her body, and the amount of hCG she is producing. An hpt detects hCG, so if you are not producing plenty for the hpt to detect, if you are pregnant, you will get a false negative. You can use First Response and tryout 4 days before your missed period. But please know that these test do not work for everyone. I would wait until the 1st day of your missed term to test. If you keep getting negative and still have no period, you still may be trialling too soon. It can take up to 2 wks or even a month after you miss to 1st get a positive result. You can other go to the Dr. and get a blood experiment. They are very accurate and much more sensitive, and can detect hCG before an hpt can. Good luck to you!
