Metformin with hair loss as a side effect?

Hair loss is a symptom on PCOS. I have not read anywhere Metformin causes hairloss.
I am actually going to the dermatologist today because I have PCOS and I need to treat a couple of its MANY symptoms- acne and Hairloss.
