My friend was on birth control and got a uti and had to take antibiotics and became pregnant?

Is it true that some antibiotics cancel the birth control out?I've never heard of that til she told me her doctor said that but I thought only beer and stuff like that could cancel the pill out well let me know what you know

Yes unfortunately, the pharmacist or doctor should have warned her of this possibility at the start of her antibiotic course.

Yes ma'am that is true... That is why the dr always ask if you are on something...If you are they will advise you this might cause interuption to your 'pill.' Plus the 'pill' is not a definate thing to stop pregancy.
