5 days be4 i was spoted little brownish only for few hours.and im expecting my periods today.am i pregnant?

Some women spot before they start their periods. I assume this is not the case (or else you wouldn't have asked the question). In that case, the most likely explanation is that it was implantation bleeding, although there are other possibilities. Breast and nipple tenderness is also a common early sign of pregnancy. It sounds like you are *probably* pregnant; wait a few days and take a pregnancy test.

i have watched from tv( discovery channel) that if an egg is fertilized and implantation has occured. you will experience spotting.
however, if you want to be sure you can take pregnancy test.
I am going through the exact same thing. I took a store bought pregnancy test yesterday and it is positive but I am also spotting brownish blood. I have a doc appointment in a few days but not sure if I should go earlier. I have slight cramping as well. Breasts are also tender. I would say I am about 3 to 4 weeks along. So yes I am a bit concerned to what my body is doing and if the fetus will be alright. You can keep in touch if you like too.

If your normal period always starts like this then maybe not.But if this is different unusual then yes you can be.I bled like that two,for like 3 days then it stopped.I noticed i had to pee more,and my breast were already looking bigger.my boyfriend had even noticed one day while i was taking a bath.So as soon as he told me i was like thinking maybe i am it isn't just me thinking they have growed .I got a p.g. test and sure enough i was pregnant.So yes you can spot even have a period and be pregnant.Especially since your not using protection and trying to get that way.My advice get a pregnancy test from a doctor and go from there that way you know for sure since home test can sometimes make false-negative results in which it may say your not pregnant but in fact be.So consult your doctor get the test and i wish you all the luck in the world hope you get the great news you've been waiting to hear for so long!!

Generally, if implantation occurs, it can be between 5-8 days past ovulation. Assuming your cycle is normal 28 days, you can expect ovulation around day 14-15. The sore/tender breasts are another sign of pregnancy, but not a definitive sign. If you are trying to get pregnant, have you tracked your temperature? You will see a thermal shift in your tempurature just before ovulation, and another one often occurs if implantation happend. This is called the tri-phasic pattern.
All that said, the ony definitive way to tell if you are pregnant is taking a pregnancy test. If you are expecting your period today, you should get pretty accurate results. Good luck!
