How long will it take to conceive?

I'VE BEEN MARRIED SIX YRS AND ME AND MY HUBBY ARE DYING TO HAVE A LIL ONE, BUT TO NO AVAIL WE HAVE NOT GOT CLOSE YET. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK I SHOULD DO TO TRY. IAM NOT GOOD WITH CYCLE STUFF SO WHERE SHOULD I BEGIN. PLZZ HELP AND GOD BLESS

Answers:
Well, your cycle goes like this: The day you start your period is the first day of your cycle, the day you ovulate is the 14th day of your cycle. So count 14 days from the day your period starts, have sex a couple days before and after that day, to be sure. Don't overdo it, you could lower your husbands sperm output. When you do have sex, you should orgasm first and then your husband. After that, put your hips up on a pillow for a few minutes.

Most importantly, try not to stress about it. If it doesn't happen in a few months then both of you go see your doctor. I also recommend adoption, there are so many children out there that need people like you, who want to care for a child so much. Good luck and God bless!!

I say wait and it will happen sooner or later. All you are doing is just stressing yourself out. You just have to be calm and let it happen. Good luck.

If you are under 35, give yourself at least a year. If you are over 35, give yourself at least 6 months before you panic.
Also, do a google search on BBT (Basal body temperature) to learn more about your cycle and ovulation. Your best bet is to have a fertility workup with your ob/gyn as well as have your husband given a semen analysis test. There may be an easily fixable issue that can be corrected so that you can conceive.

You've been patient enough...it's time to find out if there are any problems!

Good luck to you!

http://thefertilityshop.com We tried consistently for over a year before we had any luck. Is your period regular? The best time to get pregnant is right smack in between your periods. So if you're on a 28 day cycle, you gotta try around 14 days after your period starts.
