I have some questions about BBT and stuff?

I went to my obgyn last year and spoke to him about wanting to have a baby with my husband. Since my periods at the time were very irregular he put me on Clomid, birth control pills, and told me to take my BBT, he even gave me a chart to log it. After taking the pills and taking my BBT every morning before I even got out of bed I realized that my temperature was no where on that chart. I had to alter it because my morning temp was anywhere from 95 to 96 and the chart when from 97 to 100. Is this unusual? Oh, and does anyone know who can do a sperm count for my guy? He's too embarrassed to ask my doctor and won't let me ask either. I think if he found a doctor on his own he might be more inclined to have the test done. Who am I kidding, men don't like knowing that their "soldiers" can't make the long journey home.LOL. Thanks for reading.

well i going chomid soon and i was told by geocoleist told me if your period are
irregular your more than likely not ovulating which you probably already know that as you are on chomid maybe you should be looking at getting a ultrasound you may have polocystic ovaries which makes your period irregular or even stop i didnt even know i had until my period stopped for 2 -3 months i thought i was preganant as ithe Home pregnancy test came up postive but when i went to the doctor it was negitive i was heart broken but the doctor put me for blood test and ultra sounds it wasnt until the ultra sound my doctor turn around and sais you have pcos polocystic ovaries because i always thought women were always irregular until they stop al together but i could be wrong as this pcos really sucks as trying to conceive sucks as i`m still trying i hope these chomid tablets work and as for you boyfriend tell him there is no shame in getting a sperm count test i got my boyfriend to do after 2 years of trying and no result he went to his local doctor and asked for a referral i only thing he has to remember if he want to have children he only as to walk in to a doctor surgery once and go to pathologhy once once he mght be ruled as the cause he can go back drinking and being a male that they are and only thing he has to do which includres you is if u want to get the referral and do it straight away my doctor said STRICTLY no sex or smoking for 3 whole days before you do the test so he only embrassed once lol maybe we should derbate if men should go for a pap smear every 2 yearLOL as they think a sperm count bad at least they can go to the bathroom and do it in private not like us we have to be up on the bed and waiting for the doc to do his thing every 2 years NOW THATS EMBRASSING nd uncomtable dont u agree? well i maybe wrong but it doest hurt to ask you doc for a ultra sound but you should be ok i have the same prob =lem with my tempure, also i like the soldier saying laughed my *** off.... well good luck with your baby plans :) p.s sorry about spelling mistakes from brizzy chick
As for the BBT thing, sometimes it's hard to read those charts. I use www.fertilityfriend.com and it detects ovulation for me. All you do is enter your temp each morning, and it's free. As for your temps, don't look at the temps as each day, look at the chart as a whole. If you're seeing a pattering that it's dropping and rising again after ovulation and staying up until your period shows then you're okay. It doesn't really matter what temp it is. Some months mine can be real low and others it's a lot higher. Are you using an actual bbt thermometer and not a regular digital? Also if your temp did go up to 100 that might indicate that you had a touch of something. Your temp shouldn't really even get to 99. Maybe you were sick that month. I'm not sure where your hubby can get tested other than going to a clinic and having it done. It is probably embarassing for most men, my hubby included but if he doesn't get tested you may never know if there's a problem or not.
