my wife took a pregnancy test and it showed two lines but one was not as clear as the other...is she pregnant?

YES!!! OMG YES!!!! THIS JUST HAPPENED TO ME!!! I took 2 tests in 2 days and each time one line was lighter than the other. I got a blood test this week and found out I am 4 weeks PG!!! CONGRATS!! YOU ARE HAVING A BABY!!! My doctor told me a line is a line, even if it is a little lighter than the other!!! Have her take another one in 48-72 hours and it should be alot darker because a womans HCG levels double every 48-72 hours!

if there are two lines, even if one is faint, shes still pregnant. Either take another test, or have a doctor give her one at his office to be sure though.

Buy a more expensive test, not the generic one, Cheapo! Yes she could be. Most of the time it just means she is not that far along. bt usually if there are two lines no matter how dark or light, that indicate a positive pregnancy.

The same thing happened to me when i was pregant with my son, it probably just meens that shes taken the test really early as the hormone levels aren't very high. If there are two lines no matter how fiant, she is pregnant! CONGRATULATIONS on the new baby.

Personal experience thats what my doctor told me Yes she could very well be pregnant. A faint line is a line, and it means positive. Congratulations!
