well my breast usually hurts 1 day a month, the nite before my period.but my breast has been sore since?

monday and my period isnt due till the 24th of this month. could this be a sign of breast cancer?

I doubt that it is breast cancer, unless if you find unusual lumps in your breasts. Maybe you are going through a hormonal imbalance, maybe you are pregnant? I say that because your question is in the category Trying to Conceive, so I am assuming that you are trying to get pregnant.

The signs of breast cancer by the way are the following:

-lump or thickening in the breast or underarm
-change in size or shape of the breast
-nipple discharge or nipple turning inward
-redness or scaling of the skin or nipple
-ridges or pitting of the breast skin

So if you're concern that you may have breast cancer, get a screening done at the doctor's office to rule it out. Sore breasts are not generally an indicator of breast cancer, so I go by my earlier theories which are: hormonal imbalance and pregnancy. As soon as you miss your period - I know the next one is not till the 24th - take a home pregnancy test to see if you are indeed pregnant.

Is there a chance that you could be pregnant? That's one major symptom. Do a self breast check, if you feel a lump or it's painful have it checked out by your doctor.
