missed period dr gave tab for period?

i am 10days late i got my last period on 8/5/2006 i didnt get period this month.i have pain like period but not bleeding but sore breasts getting much big no nasea. in previous pregnancies i got nasea i took blood test 5th day on missed period its negtive.my dr is on vacations a junior dr is there she did ultra sound at 5th day of missed period and told my ovreis are looking heavy when u get period come back we will do ultra sound again.she gave me med for start bleeding.i want a baby.plz help should i wait may be i am pregnant or take tab to start bleeding help me plz.i am 40+ and my period are very regular 28 cycle never miss period all life except i got pregnant

My doc just call to tell me that I am not preg
I had a blood test this morning
I also have all preg symtoms/ miss my p for 3 days now it never happen before
my Ultra sound that was done yesterday show that it was enlarge
meaning either I have a baby or my body is ready for my p
I think that the doc has done the right thing but if you have any douht why don't you wait unitil your regular doc is back

If they did an ultra sound and a blood test and neither of them picked up a pregnancy you most likely have something else going on. It could be a cyst.
