typically how many days after the 1st day of your period do you ovulate?

i know everyone is different but around how many days?

Answers:
The average is 14 days, but, as you said, this can vary widely. Some women are like clockwork, others are more variable. If you're trying to get pregnant, here's a tip that I think is more effective than counting days: Pay attention to your discharge and look for it to be like clear, runny egg whites. Sorry to be so graphic, but that is a really great indicator of when you're ovulating. A friend gave me that tip and we literally got pregnant with just one try.
