I can not tell you how many of my friends have been in your shoes. They didnt hold any hope for haveing children after years of trying,They decided to adopt, then out of the blue they got pregnent.I also have another friend and Aunt who were not bless with thier own,but went on to have very full lives.Treat friends and relitives children around you as your own.My sister had cervix cancer and had a perfict baby. That shouldnt be a problem. You can make a huge differance in someones life. It sounds like you have alot of care and strenth.You will get through these trying times.

It sounds as if you need to further clarify your partner's situation. Is the count low or none? If none, why did they attempt IUI (it is not effective if there is no sperm). If low, how is the motility & what are the other parameters of the sperm?
Has anyone looked into what the possible cause of the low sperm count is? Varicocele? Hormones?
One thing that you can try without going to a doctor is having him take a vitamin supplement with lycopene for 3 months. This is said to improve sperm count, which seems like the first thing you need to be worried about.
If his sperm count is none, you obviously have very limited choices. If he is comfortable with the idea, you can consider donor sperm as an option if you want to be pregnant.
As previously suggested, if his count is low, you need to look at why, motility, etc. It is possible to become pregnant with low sperm count and there are things (medically and herbally) you can do to increase the count. First off, I would get more information about his analysis results.
If you haven't already, maybe see a Reproductive Endocrinologist...they are more specialized in dealing with fertility issues than a regular OBGYN.
I was very saddened when I read this question. My heart goes out to you. I would consult a fertility doctor. Also, I feel you should talk to someone because that is heavy burden to carry. Also, pray to God for the best answer to your problem. Believe and be patient and the answer always come for me and my prayers go out to you.
