Can you ovulate more than once in a cycle?
Answers:
It is more common then one might think to ovulate more then once. Where do you think ferternal twins come from? They are from two seperate eggs.
Sometimes a woman will do that once and then go back to just releasing one, sometimes it can happen in more then one cycle in a row. It all just depends on hormones.
Having that kind of discharge more then once in a cycle doesn't mean anything. It's all hormones. It could be that you ovulated more then once, or that your hormone levels are still high from ovulation, or it could just be nothing at all.

My doctor told me that yes you can. I was taking my temp every morning and when looking at the chart he said it was more than once.
A woman cannot ovulate more than once during each cycle, therefore she cannot get pregnant more than once during a cycle. Multiple ovulation can occur and is when two or more eggs are released in a single cycle. Both eggs are released during one 24 hour period and are responsible for the birth of fraternal twins. It is believed that this may occur in as many as 5-10% of all cycles but does not result in that many twins due to a type of miscarriage referred to as the “vanishing twin phenomenon.
