could be many reasons including high stress levels. If it is an ongoing thing month after month, then it is not so normal to have it every 2 weeks. Get yourself checked out by a gyno to be safe.
If you are just beginning, your periods will start at different times until your hormones level out. If you have been having your period for a long time, it could be stress. Worst case answer is there is a problem and go see your doctor.
If you are stressed out, sick, or something is going on that isnt usual that can cause this. Even if you are on birth control pills that can happen.
