The word Trying is the key factor here. Don't try so hard. A man's sperm count needs to build up say about 2 weeks with out intercourse. Also being stressed is another factor that prevent pregnancy. If you have scar tissue from previous pregnancies this could also prevent you from becoming pregnant. If your fiance wears briefs have him wear boxers, this will help him to produce adequate amounts of little sperms. Both of you need to be checked out if you have been trying for a long time. It could be either you or your fiancee. I don't believe it's possible for your body to shut down like you think. Does your fiancee have any kids? He may have abnormal sperm or a low sperm count. I doubt it's you as you've had so many already. Remember too that you have aged since you've had your children and that affects the difficulty also. If you've been trying for over a year and are under 30, then go to see a fertility specialist. If you are over 30 and have been trying for more than 6 months, go see a fertility specialist.
