Chart ovulation the easy way. Take your temperature every day. On the day that you are ovulating, it will be about .2 higher. Make sure you use a digital thermometer. I've never heard about yams, but who knows!? (I think I, personally, will try the yam thing, it can't hurt!) Well, then also start taking folic acid and calcium tabs. Also, start cutting down of caffine and alcohol. In addition, don't stress about it! Happy conceiving!

This will sound odd, but I've actually heard that a diet that includes a lot of yams increases the odds for twins, maybe something to do with ovulation...?

I would lay on a pellow for 15 mintues after sex dont urinate for 45 mins and elevate your hips and buy Folic Acid. Or you can get an ovulation predictor. There is a great fertility supplement out there called FertilAid. It's a multivitamin that contains follic acid, anti-oxidants plus herbs that are known for regulating cycles and creating cervical mucus. The nice part about this is that they've done all the research for you as to what is most effective in helping conception
