can you still get pregnant if you stand up after sex?

I know it sounds so stupid but we are trying to get pregnant and I always try to lay down for a while after......but if I stand up after is there still a chance? If not how long should I lay there? Also will sperm still be able to swim if you are not wet? A friend told me that the sperm wont travel if I am not wet because it needs the moisture to make its way down (or is it up)lol anyways is this true? thanks

If you want to conceive then try laying down with your hips elevated for about forty five minutes after having sex. You can get pregnant if you stand up after also, but it is a better chance if you elevate your hips because more of the sperm stays inside of you and has a better chance of reaching its destination. There has also been some research done that suggests that there is a better chance if the woman orgasms because that causes small contractions that helps to move the sperm up into the Fallopian tubes

Not all the sperm leaks out so it is possible to become pregnant.
