Has anyone ever used Instead Softcups to help conceive???

I read an article that people are using the Instead Softcup(which is a tampon alternative) to help concieve. The idea is that you insert it after sex to keep sperm close to the cervix. Kind of like a revirse diaphram. It makes sence to me, but has anyone tried it? Any ideas why I shouldn't do it? TTC for 6 months, willing to try anything...but if one more person tells me to "Just relax and it will happen" I might kill them!!! lol

Answers:
The Instead cups are very popular in trying to conceive. The theory is that it does help to keep the semen close to the cervix so that sperm can go directly where they need to.

I don't have statistics on results, however it works off the same principal of using cervical caps after an insemination by a specialist.

If you have ever used a diaphram...you will have no problem inserting the Instead Cups.

ivacca, cool name. women have 300 to 400 eggs to be ovulated during their life, thats approximately 25 years or 33 years to conceive a baby from the time you begin to have a menstrual cycle.
maybe you should try artificial insemination. i don't know. I'm only 15 so i shouldn't even b answering this question. I'm not trying to get pregnant but i do wish you good luck. i know you're going to hate me, but try to relax. in my biology class they said that the more a women is stressed the more white blood cells she produces (things that kill foreign objects in the body). the baby would be seen as a foreign object and possibly killed. like i said b4...i don't know. either way good luck.
