Can you take fertility drugs to try to get pregnant even if you are not infertile?

My boyfriends ex says she is pregnant by him and she took fertility drugs to get pregnant. She already has 3 children. I thought fertility drugs were expensive, only for the infertile, not easy to come by and have side effects. Let me know if im wrong. Thanks!

Answers:
You *can* take fertility drugs if you aren't infertile. They are only available by prescription, so you either need to acquire them illegally or find a doctor who is willing to intentionally commit malpractice. The side effects are also pretty bad. A drug like Clomid, for instance, has some side effects that will *cause* infertility (in addition to how it *treats* other aspects of infertility). It can also cause cervical cancer. It's a big risk to use it when you don't need to. But people do all kinds of stupid things!!

I think you should be more concerned over the fact that your boyfriend's been doing his ex.
No drug can make ur bf's ex pregnent. Either ur bf sexually related to his ex or she can take IVF methodology to get her pregnent.
You can take fertility drugs if you are fertile. They basically up the production of eggs made by the woman and make her ovulation more predictable so to ensure pregnancy. They are expensive, most couples will spend upwards of $10,000 before the child is even conceived.
fertility drugs have side effects, but anyone can pay enough to get them.
I highly doubt she obtained any fertility drugs from her doctor from her doctor. I doubt he would give them to her if she already has three kids. I think you should be more concerned about what your bf is doing screwing his ex, and why you are more concerned about that than how she got pregnant. Obviously if it's his, they were having sex, regardless of fertility usage.
no you can use it if you can have children like if you use clomid you can have more than one baby at a time and faster!!!
