Have you taken Clomid and if so how long did it take you to conceive?

As I've stated in my previous questions, I have been trying to conceive since March 05. I was pregnant at the end of last year, but lost the baby at 9 weeks. I started trying to conceive again after having a DNC and had no luck. My levels were at 40 when I was pregnant, so I didn't lose it b/c of low levels, but still don't know why I lost it. My doctor recommended Clomid since I have been unsuccessful in getting preg again. I've taken one cycle so far, but still no pregnancy. Any suggestions?

I took Clomid for 6 rounds with an OB/GYN. After 2 cycles he had me attempt an HSG but they said my cervix was too narrow. I took a break for two months and got in to a great Reproductive Endocrinologist. The first month he had me back on Clomid with Glucophage(PCOS) and did IUI. The second month he ordered the HSC test with no issues this time and I did one final month of Clomid and Glucophage with IUI. The HSG test cleared a blockage on both sides and I ended up pregnant that month. I was also monitored closely through Ultrasound the whole time. Mind you this was after 7 years of trying, doctor's, etc. So the Dr. really can make all the difference. I really recommend a RE. Hope this helps and baby dust your way!
Clomid is only helpful to women who have ovulation issues. I was pregnant my 1st month on clomid but sadly miscarried this last weekend. I would try the clomid for 3 months, if that does not work, PLEASE get an HSG. I have heard so many women who have had issues and after this was performed, they were pregnant within one month. So, please talk to your doctor about it. Good luck with everything
