Answers:
my first question is have u been trying long. If you havent then try to enjoy and most of all relax. if you are thinking that you want to be pregnant all the time it wont happen. Believe me it will happen when you least expect it. It took us nearly 9 years to have my first son who is 3 years old now but that was through a lot of treatment and a lot of hospital visits. But then a year and a half later i fell naturally with my 2nd son who has just turned 1 years. Both took us by surprise in different ways. Obviously we were trying for our first and never thought it would happen but then it did. Our 2nd well we didnt really try and I am so glad it did. So I hope you do fall soon but if not go and see your doctor to get the ball rolling for investigations. good luck

I suggest you both go to a doctor. They'll have to run some test to see if you are both fertile. Good Luck....
You say you have tried lots of things. Were they through your doctor or old wives tales? If you have been trying for that long, you need to see your doctor, as well as your husband. Do you have regular periods? If you don't then you may not be ovulating, though you may not be even if you have regular cycles. Talk to your doctor, it's your best bet.
My husband and I have been trying for 5 years and we have both been checked and passed all the different tests and surguries. Basically dr's said that there was nothing wrong with us. We did all the steps up to invetero. We became foster parents, and we were lucky enough to adopt a 2 year old. Foster parenting is a very difficult job, but we do it for the kids. If you should become lucky enough to adopt through the f.c. system it's free.
The easiest time to get pregnant is the week before your period and the week after. I would try for another month or two and then think about going to the doctor to find out if your ovaries are ok. If everything check out with you then have your husband go in and get checked out. I wish you both luck.

My husband and I had been trying for 2 years. WE were both tested, and nothing wrong with either of us. I was ovulating on time and all. I went on Clomid, and was pregnant within 3 months.

Any doctor will be happy to refer you to a fertility specialist after you have been trying for 4 years. Perhaps you have done all those fun tests, but if you haven't... you should find out why it isn't happening for you. Could be male or female related --- or both. You should def. know for sure with the help of a fertility doctor (not your ob/gyn) before going the route of adoption as what looks like your next option. Try reading "Taking Charge of your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It is excellent.

I recommend you read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. You can buy it on amazon.com for around $16.
You may have been trying, but it may have been at the wrong time of the month, or maybe you weren't seeing all the signals your body has been giving you.
In order to get pregnant, you need to be aware of when you ovulate, and to do this, you need to chart your waking temperatures, cervical fluid, and cervix position.
Basically this book shows you how to do all these things, and how to analyze the results. It could be that you are ovulating earlier or later in your cycle than you originally thought, or perhaps you are not ovulating at all. Regardless, this is a great place to start, as even if you don't conceive, you will be able to go to your doctor armed with vital information that can help him or her diagnose the situation, and you won't have to waste time trying things that may not be applicable to you.
Can't recommend this book enough.
I have charted now for a few months, and it really has helped me a lot.
Best of luck to you and your husband :-)
