I only see my periods only when i am on birth control pills is this normal?

and i am trying to conceive done all the test possible and every thing is ok.

Answers:
If you're not getting your period without a hormonal product like birth control..then there is something not right. Perhaps you need to see another ob/gyn. Some ob/gyn's really have minimal training in fertility problems. The specialist you'd need to look for is called a Reproductive Endocrinologist.

If you need help finding one, just let me know.

Did your doctor test you for polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)? No, it does not mean that you have polycystic ovaries but a dr. can tell by your labs if you have high levels of male hormones(androgens). PCOS has many symptoms in which victims may have all or some of the symptoms including fewer than eight menstral cycles in a year, more than 35 days between cycles, no menstral periods, abnormal vaginal bleeding, excess hair growth(hirsutism) on the face, chest, back, stomach, thumbs, or toes. Skin
problems such as acne, oily skin, dandruff, dark skin patches(acanthosis nigricans), chronic pelvic pain, male pattern balding, infertility, and increased risks of endometrial cancer and Type 2 diabetes mellitus, as well as high blood levels of triglycerides, high levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and hypertension- which raises the risk of heart attack and stroke. Diagnosis of PCOS is extremely difficult because the symptoms can be from other diseases or conditions. Hope this helps.
