ttc, doc thinks I am...?

I am 1 week late with no still no + positive (Though this is normal for my family my mom was 4 weeks late before she got a + with brother and 3 when with me...) Today though I started to bleed...not enough to use anything it is just there...and it is pinkish...not like normal period...could I be starting? It just seems odd I have been off the pill for 6 months, and this is the 1st time it was late, also the first month we have tried, and first time blood is different...any thoughts?

Vaginal bleeding at any time during pregnancy, or when you have a great reason to suspect that you may be pregnant, warrants a trip/call to the doctor. He or she will probably be able to do a blood test on you, which can detect pregnancy in a woman with normal rates of hCG as early as 6 days after conception. This will let you know what your next plan of attack should be. As you would now be five weeks pregnant, your doctor could do an ultrasound on you. You probably won't be able to see a fetus, but you should be able to see a gestational sac. A fetus can only be seen after 6 weeks of pregnancy, and even then my baby was only 0.57cm at that stage.

It is possible that your body is still getting itself into a 'normal routine', even though you have been off the pill for six months.

I doubt it is implantation bleeding because it usually happens earlier in pregnancy. Most implantation bleeding will happen around 10 days after conception, at the time when the fetus is implanting itself into the uterine wall. This is why some people mistake implantation bleeding for an early period.

I'm going to include the link to a trying to conceive/pregnancy forum that you might find helpful. I used it when I was trying to conceive, and also now that I am pregnant. It's full of supportive women, with a lot of knowledge about these things. I learnt a few tips and tricks for TTC that I doubt I would have learnt otherwise. I hope you join up!

When in doubt the best thing to do is call a doc, spotting is normal up to month 3, if you, so go to the doc and ask for the blood test.

i was the same way, i was on the depo shot and it didnt show up until i was 3 weeks late. i was spotting also. Yep.. best thing to do is ask a doctor. But Good luck either way hon!

It could just be implatation bleeding. I wouldnt worry. Give it a few days or a week and take another test. If it really is bothering you, call your doctor and he can order a simple blood test and you will know for sure! Good Luck!!

i bled for the first 3 months of pregnancy for my daughter i even thought i was misscarrying but the dr said it had to do with my uterus streching and inplantation bleeding i say go to a dr
