No it just takes time It took me and my husband 2 years the first time and then 4 the second time
We just stoped worrying about it and that is when it happened
You could also see a Doctor to be sure there is not any other problems but

Have My Baby...But Dont Tell Him
probably not except that the baby may be prone to developing alcoholism later in life.
Go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com and put in your period info and it will calculate when you will be fertile and ovulating.

It took me almost a year to become pregnant (was on depo for 3 years prior)
My husband smoked pot and i got pregnant...I really think that has nothing to do with it. I think maybe you aren't having sex at the right time or it just isn't meant to happen right now. When you stop thinking about getting pregnant (like i did) that is when you will become pregnant.

good luck
The party's over for men once you start trying for a baby, says Cole. Sperm is just as affected by tobacco, alcohol, and drugs as a woman's eggs. Research suggests that this troublesome trio may lower sperm counts and slow motility. That means you should completely cut out recreational drugs, such as marijuana and cocaine, cut down on alcohol, and quit smoking before you start trying. Plus, kicking the habit now can help your family later. Secondhand smoke is dangerous for your partner and your children (both in utero and after birth).

And a lowered sperm count isn't the only reason you should lay off the bottle. Research shows that dads who drink the equivalent of two drinks a day during the month before conception have babies who weigh on average 6.5 ounces less than other babies. Low birth weight is a serious medical condition that can affect your child's health and behavior for the rest of his life.

Drinking alcohol is not *usually* a problem in terms of conceiving, although it *can* be. If your husband has *stopped* drinking (which is what it sounds like from your question), it shouldn't be an issue in any case.

And that answer that it increases your child's likelihood of being alcoholic is just plain *not true*. Alcoholism runs in families (sometimes), but if he drank and was *not* alcoholic, this doesn't cause genetic changes!!
It depends on the quantity of alcohol. If he drinks 2 six packs per day that can certainly cut down on the effectiveness of trying to conceive. If it's 3 beers a day, no problem.
