i had ectopic and i lost a tube it took my cycle eight weeks to get back to normal two years later ive now got 2 kids
don't worry, the surgery you had isn't enough reason not to have a baby.
my friend had ectopic pregnancy, too. that doesn't mean that your maternal functions are lost - you'd just better wait a year after your surgery before you conceive, let your body recover.
you'll have as many kids as you wish, believe me.

p.s. don't hesitate to ask your doctor everytime you have similar questions
Did you have a laparoscopy? This type of surgery usually has a short recovery period. I'm sorry to say but having a etopic pregnancy can affect you getting pregnant. The tube where the etopic pregnacy might have scar tissue, if your eggs keep trying to go in that tube to get to your uterus, they might get blocked.

Give your body at least 3 months to heal, they try for 6 months to a year to get pregnant again. If you feel you are having trouble speak to your doctor....

I'm sorry for your loss, I hope everything goes well for you.
