could I be pregnant?

I just got off birthcontrol 2 months ago. Last month my period came in 26 days, and this month I am on day 30. I took a PT, but it was in the evening, and the package said the best time of day was in the morning. The test can out negative. Is it possible that I just coming off birth control, that I am just not regular?

Answers:
Yes, quitting the birth control will make your periods irregular. It takes your hormones to adjust and regulate without the pill. Keep a chart of when you get your period, that way you will be able to tell how regular your cycle will be. It took me up to a year.

when you get of a birth control your periods are never regular so that just might be the thing your period will fix back up like in 3 or 4 months

Some women can conceive right away! It is possible that your body is adjusting and make take a few cycles. I would wait a few more days then retest using first morning pee. ur fine ur body is adjusting to the change

MOST OF THE TIMES HEN U GET OFF OF BIRTH CONTROL METHODS YOUR BODIE TAKES A WQHILE TO THIS AJUSTMETS BASICALLY IF YOUDONT GET A PERIOD THAT IS WHEN U CAN SAY THAT U ARE PREAGNAT, AFTER USING THIS METHODS FORMORE THAN 3 MONTHS IT TAKES MORE TIME TO GET PREAGNAT AROUND 3 -4 MONTHS OFCOURSE SOME WOMANS ARE THE EXCEPTION.

It all depends on what kind of birth control you were taking. If you were taking depo shots it could take up to 8 months for your cycle to get back on track. The best thing to if you really want to know is to take the test again or go to the doctor's office and take a blood test (more accurate).

When you stop taking birth control pills your period will be irregular for 2-4 months. Sometimes it takes longer to get back on track. I know how annoying it can be not knowing when your going to have your period. Good luck.

Mother of two Coming off birth control, it can take a few months for your cycles to regulate. A false negative on a pregnancy test is possible very early on, but they are generally very accurate. Try again in the morning and if that one's negative too, then chalk it up to post-Pill irregularity.

The hormones in birth control regulate your period to the point where you know what day you will get it. The package is right. The best time to take the test is with the first urine of the morning. I took the test at night, it was negative. I read the box, saw that it said to take it in the morning, took it the next morning, and it was positive!!! You just never know. Besides, I got pregnant after 2 weeks of being off my pill. Try the test again. If it comes back negative and you still don't get your period, speak to your doctor.

your periods can be irregular when you first stop takeing birth control, but the first few months your more likely to concieve.
