Answers:
I just started taking fertilaid vitamins to help. But in answer to your question no, you can ovulate and still not get pregnant. It is all about timing baby making sex with your ovulation. The unfertilized egg is generally only able to be fertilized for a 12-24 hour period before it is shed. But here is the good news! The sperm can live up to 5 days in the cervical mucus so sex daily or every other day during the days leading up to ovulation (and a day after) really increases the chances.

Of course sperm count and mobility are big factors too. As well as, your health, diet, use of caffiene, alcohol, tabacco, etc...
The chances of conceiving are better during your ovulation period, but not always going to happen. There can be many other factors at that time to aid in conception. I wish you luck in getting pregnant.
