ok so, this is my first cycle on fertility medication (i have PCOS) been ttc for 2 years until in the order of 3 weeks ago i was diagnosed with PCOS and the doctor get me started on provera to induce my period than when it started i started taking Avandia and Femara (similar to Metformin and Clomid) for my first cycle and i guess i just considered necessary to know if there were any of you out in that who took metformin and clomid or avandia and femara or any other fertility drug, did anybody get pregnant their first cycle? my fertile day is coming up here on the 16th and im so excited!
Answers: i done one round of provera to induce a extent and metformin and then on days 3-7 of my cycle i was to run clomid and it did work for me on the first round i am 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant. i wish all the luck and lots of babe-in-arms dust your way.
I did! I was on 500 mg metformin and 25 mg of clomid. Both thoroughly low doses I suppose. I was supposed to be on a higher dose of metformin, but since I wasn't in truth insulin resistant, all it did was craft me sick.
