it is 'ok' to do so while you are on your period.. although it isn't the most fun for obvious reasons. and you are just as able to get pregnant while on your period as any other time. Only 100% way to NOT get pregnant is NO SEX.

Although rather messy, one can have sex while bleeding, but she should still use a condom. It's not clockwork when the egg is released, so a condom should be used every time there is sex involved.

its ok, as long as both of you are ok to be gross and yucky because the bloood will definitely mess it up... about 20 - 25% i think depends if your period is regular or not... As just a question its okay, its okay to get an infection on your period, its okay that sex that day is gross and messy, its ok to pay a dr's bill from that infection. yeah and yes you can get pregnant.you can have sex while on a period but i can't it makes my cramps hurt worse but as far as the chance of getting pregnant on it it depends on the woman
