Am I pregnant or what is going on?

I have a 9 month old and with her I had a period for 2 days. The condom broke when my husband and I were having sex during ovulation and my period came 1 week early. It was only 3 days, unlike my normal 7 day. I took a pregnancy test a few days ago and it came up negative. How long do I need to wait to know for sure?

Answers:
you should wait till the first day of your expected period, depending on the test some do not pick up the HCG hormone untill well after you should have had your period. I would go to a doctor and get a blood serum test or if that is too expensive try using first response.

Other Answers:
I'm not sure how long to wait but it sounds history repeating itself.

Id re test but if they say no it doesnt actually mean no if they say yes it means yes I think it needs to be about two weeks before you get a more definitive answer.

been there, done that, got the t-shirt :-)

The first day of your missed period is early enoug..maybe even sooner. Recheck in a week to have more confidence.

It sure sounds like you could be pregnant. I would take another test and if it is still negative I would go in to the doctor. This happened to me with my first daughter...the tests kept coming up negative and my period was like 1 or 2 days so I went to the doctor and sure enough I was pregnant.

You didn't day when your last menstrual cycle ended and when you did your home test but you can test as early as 3 days after your period was expected. Wait until the 9th day then repeat the test. If the 9th day has come & gone, repeat the test now. If you are still unsatisfied with the results, it's time for the blood & urine tests. What you had with your daughter was breakthrough bleeding. It happens. Good luck and I hope this works out the way you and your husband want it to. You are suppose to wait until a week before your missed period i am 20 and pregnant now also i took a home pregnancy test also and it said negative. You should really wait and get a blood test just to be sure.

get a ******* pregnancy test!!!

go get a blood test.good luck
