How long should I wait to have another child?

I'm 22 soon to be 23 and I have a 2 1/2 year old son. I love children and I would love to have another child. I'm in school studying to become a Registered Nurse but I rather not wait until after school to have another child. I know that I can afford another child so thats not an issue for me or my boyfriend. I don't live with my parents, I have my own house so I'm definitly prepared for this decision. I just need to know if the timing is right. I think that I may be pregnant already but I'm just waiting until I miss my period to take a test. Please only sincere answers thank you.

have all the children you want. if you REALLY love children, then, i say the more the merrier, and good luck! First of all, if you ARE already pregnant, it's kind of a moot point. But my husband and I plan to start trying again when our son is about 2. That seems like good spacing to us. He and his sister were 2 years apart, and he thinks that's too close. My brother and I were 4 years apart, and I think that's too far. We're shooting for 3 years, which sounds best for us.

If you feel you are ready go for it. If you wait to see if it is the right time it might not be the right time anymore. And make sure your boyfriend wants a baby too. And congrats if you already are.

Wait like 2 more years. that way ur kid can grow and so can ur relationship with ur husbands. Three years after your 1st child.

if you wont another child go for it If you're boyfriend and you have already agreed then once your body heals (you may want to consult a doctor) you should beging trying to have another child. Have you thought about all of the obvious questions ( how many babies in diapers at the same time, do I want my child to have a big brother or big sister to look up to, etc.)? If so and you are financially stable as well as physically and emotionally heathy and ready to take on the extra workload of another child, and your relationship with your boyfriend is stable, then go for it. Remember babies take time to make so start now and congratulations if you are already pregnant.
Also don't forget the "First Response" pregnancy tests that can test for pregnancy up to five days before your missed period. I've found that they work much better than the digital tests too.
