I know that my friend was expecting her period and took two tests after the 4th day of it not coming. Well they both came out negative!

She was thinking that maybe the medicine she was on had something to do with it, so she waited. She was on her 7th day of missing her period and decided to take another test. Well to be sure she took 3 tests on that day! They all came out positive. She then went to the Doctors to confirm this and it was true. She is now 1 1/2 months pregnant.

I would wait until you are at least 7 days over due for your period and then take another test. I believe what the Doctors use is the same as what you would buy at the store.

I hope all works out well for you.
if its your first pregnancy it can take a while upto a few weeks to show up as a positive, i know it took me 5weeks to get a positive. but dont be afraid to go to the doctors they will have more of an idea of what tests to do. hope all works out, best of luck.
