I was on the depo shot for 4.5 months right after that I was taking the pill b/c?

the shot was making me miserable, I was on the pill for 3 more months, I stopped using any form of birth control since June '05 except condoms. My fiancee and I have been trying to get pregnant for the last 6 months unsuccessfully. Do you think that the depo and pill has effected my hormones and that might be a reason why we haven't gotten pregnant or should have they been back to normal by now?

It took me 2 years off depo to get pregnant, I was on for 3 years. Just takes time for your body to clear it out. Good luck. Take your time. The stress alone may be keeping you from concieving.

I've never tried birth control but I've heard that in can take up to a year to concieve after birthcontrol. You might just want to ask your doctor
