Has anyone ever had problems on the depo shot?

I have been having joint pain and a burning rash which also itches( I have to take medicine for the itch b/c it leaves scares if I scratch it). I have had this since December(on and off), a month after my last shot. All together I was on it for 15 months. They took me off of my birth control b/c I didn't know I was supposed to take in extra calcium. I was on the shot before and it made me sick all day. I went to the doctor in April and he said it was lyme disease. Well I took all of the medicine the doctor gave me and it seemed to work, but it's back.
I was just wandering if anybody has gone through the same thing or should I look for another culprit.

Just to add I am not allergic of anything I went through all of those tests in Feb.

I had an allergic reaction while on the shot. Nothing they can do to stop it . I also found out that the shot stopped me ovulating. I had to take fertility drugs to get pregnant. I wouldn't recommend the shot to anyone

i believe that you answered your own question when you said that you had lyme disease i have never heard of depo causing all of that but i know that lyme disease can
