My doctor told me that I'm not ovulating regularly, and he wants to put me on some meds.?

So my question is what kind of meds might he put me on ?

Answers:
It depends on if you are trying to conceive or not. If you are trying to conceive then he will put you on Clomid. This is a fertility medication that stimulates ovulation. If you are not trying to conceive the easiest way to regulate a period is birth control pills. If you are not trying to conceive and having an irregular period does not bother you and you have another form of birth control then I would not worry about taking any medication to regulate it.

I lived with an irregular period from the time it start at age 12 until after I had my daughter when I was 24. Ever since then I have been like clock work. It did prove difficult to get pregnant, it took me 3 years and 6 cycles of Clomid.

Good luck to you!
hormones, to make your cycle more regular. may i ask why he is considering that? unless you're trying really hard for a baby there is no reason why you can't live perfectly well with an irregular cycle.
