But, my theory is that it is best if you're trying to conceive after abortion that it is best to have your period return and be regular this way you can be sure ur ovulation days are on point.

im sure what the asker meant by the question was that the pregnancy had to be terminated for some health reason and not because they wanted the abortion, hence, trying to conceive again afterwards.
BUT to answer your question. it is always best to give your body some time to heal before trying again. not only will it allow you the opportunity to pinpoint ovulation dates but also, when to test. because if you don't have a period to base your timing off of, you won't know when to test. So you are right, you should wait for your next clear cycle. This also will insure that there are no unforseen complications due to the abortion.
its a good idea , after m/c or abortion to let your period return and have a normal cycle before getting pregnant. not just so you know you are ovulating but also for your overall health as well as the pregnancy's health.
ps i think its a tad twisted to have an abortion then try and get pg again right away, whats up with that?
if someone had an abortion and murdered one baby why in the name of God would they try for another??? This seems to be a very sick person to me!!!!!
