Can you have children if you have several sisks on your ovaries and have menstral cycle once every two years?
Answers:
I assume you have *cysts* on your ovaries? There are no such things as sisks.
If you are only ovulating about once every 2 years, then you are only fertile once every 2 years. But it's also possible that the bleeding you are having once every 2 years is *not* in fact a period and that you're not ovulating at all. In this case, you aren't going to get pregnant without some *serious* medical help.
Please read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler to determine if you are ovulating at all. Then, you'll probably need to see a doctor--especially if you are not ovulating *or* if you want to get pregnant before you have your next period...

I know you can get pregs with cysts, not sure about the other, might want to ask your doc
No you cant have kids
but you can always adopt
It is very possible. Even with one ovary with cysts you still could conceive as long as there are no other issues. You are going to your doctor so be sure to ask all the questions in your mind. If you are like me I forget to ask everything I need to know. Write a list beforehand and that way you won't forget to ask the important things you want to know. Make sure your doctor knows that you are ready and you do not want to delay this situation. Be pushy because if you're not then sometimes things take longer than they should. Good luck!
Yes, you can. I also have cysts in my ovaries and have irregular periods and my husband aswell already has a son. We just tried to be patient and although it took us 6 years, it was well worth it. Hang in there it will happen!!
This depends on a lot of factors. How many, how big, how old you are. But if you are having only one cycle once every two years, you are not ovulating. Most likely caused by your sists. A fertility doctor can stimulate your ovaries but if you have sists, over stimulation can be dangerous. Just make sure that you speak with a fertility doctor who is really really really good.
You can absolutely get pregnant if you have cysts on your ovaries. However I'd be a bit concerned about only getting your menstrual cycle every two years. When you say "several cysts," do you mean many small ones, all over your ovaries? Has your doctor ever used the term "polycystic ovarian syndrome" with you before?
The other thing it would be useful to know is whether you are overweight, diabetic or insulin resistant. I apologize for the question but these things are often related to polycystic ovarian syndrome. If you have polycystic ovaries and are insulin resistant/diabetic, getting your diabetes under control could reduce your ovarian symptoms and you could even go back to cycling regularly.
Recently, a drug that has been used in Europe for a very long time called Melformin (I think), has been shown to help women with this problem. A few weeks of melformin, if you are just insulin resistant and not diabetic, can jump start your menstrual cycle. If you are not diabetic or anything like that, but you do happen to consume a lot of sugar, see what happens if you drastically reduce high fructose corn syrup and sugar.
I may be going in the wrong direction with these questions because you are still learning about your problem. Maybe after you meet with your doctor and learn more you can post another question...
Sounds like you have PCOS, polycystic ovarain syndrome. There are steps you can take to try and control that, such as a low carb diet.
WIth a period every two years...it's not likely that conceiving is going to be very easy.
There are drs that can help you get the PCOS under control through medications and that should help you greatly.

If you have a period, then you should be able to conceive. I, too, had many cysts on my ovaries, but after 6 years of marriage and trying, I finally got pregnant and, thank God, had a wonderful daughter. God bless you.
