Am I going to be able to have children?

My boyfriend an I are planning on getting married. He knows about my previous engagement and my failed attempts to get pregnant. I have had the test done when I was 17 and they stated that the lining of my uterus is not able to hold an egg long enough to last through a cycle. I have had 12 mis-carrages, most lasted up to 2 1/2 months, no further. I want to know honest opinions of how I can be able to carry children. If there is none, adoption is my only choice. A surrogate is not what my boyfriend nor I want. We don't want someone else carrying our children.

Answers:
Adoption is a terrific choice - but when you say that you don't want a surrogate because you don't want someone else carrying your children... what do you think the birth mother was in an adoption? At least with a surrogate you'd know the genes were yours.

Just a thought. Good luck to you.

Other Answers:
I don't know what else you could do besides having a surrogate. The child would biologically be yours.

I don't know alot, but I am pretty sure that there are things a doctor can prescribe that can help you sustain a pregnancy longer. Have you seen a specialist? With 12 miscarriages, I am sure you would qualify. just don't give up and keep praying

That is Very sad! i feel sorry for you. I suggest that try to adopt.
hope this helps,
whitney

this would be a question to ask your doctor and im sorry about the 12 miscaarriages
