Hi,
Let me know one thing, did u r wife used oral contraceptive pills(harmonal pills) before that one year?

if yes, then there is very much possibility of slight delay to conceive, which varies from person to person. so no need to worry.

if not, and u never used any contraceptives before, then also not much to worry. may be the timing of sex, is not matching with the day of ovulation. if u r wife has regular periods, then ovulation occurs exactly 14 days prior to the next period. i mean if she got period on 29th of this month, then her ovulation would have occured on 15th of this month.
try to mate on or before day of ovulation, it will give result.

if not, u both should consult a doctor and get thorough investigations done.
ALL THE BEST.

try it at differant times of the day and when you discharge is really clear and mucus like strigy is when you are most fertile...Identify Your Most Fertile Time
Infertile days are days within your monthly cycle that there is no chance for pregnancy at that time. Fertile days are days that there is a possibility for conception. Within the fertile days there is a peak day which is the most fertile day of all. Having sex during your fertile time and insuring that you hit the peak day will greatly enhance your ability to conceive. This page will help you identify your fertile and peak days.

Identify Your Most Fertile Time
Fertile days within a monthly cycle are a few days before ovulation. What makes them fertile is the type of cervical fluid that is produced by the hormone estrogen. A fertile type of fluid is one that is able to keep sperm alive until the egg is dropped and fertilization can take place. Identifying your fertile times during a monthly cycle can be done by seeing milky, creamy or lotion like cervical fluid accompanied by a very wet vaginal sensation. If you do not produce eggwhite cervical fluid, the last day of either milky, creamy or lotion like fluid would be considered your peak day. When using the other indicators (waking body temperatures and cervical position) it is much easier to comprehend when your fluid is becoming more fertile. Temperatures may start to dip, your cervix will start to rise and become soft and open. Good luck I wish the best for you and your man and your soon to be family
Make sure both of you are healthly disease and drug free. Be sure you both have a healthy diet as well. I thought I would not be able to conceive for years until my body became very healthy. I became stable and my partner was healthy too. We tried for over a year and I thought all hope was lost. I prayed to God and I became pregnant the following month. My partner also penetrated deeply and I believe I conceived almost 2 weeks prior to my scheduled period so I was ovulating too. Since my first baby I've been fertile ever since. That is only half the battle.

I'd recommend reducing the frequency of having sex to 1x per month you both will be really h.... and ready to explode.

Recommended for adults or married couples, God is the answer!
My friend was having the same problem, and I told her to not have sex that often wait a while for some reason the sperm builds up and is stronger the longer a mn goes without release. Anyway it worked for her.
Years ago a friend had a vasectomy. Upon marrying his 4th wife she told him she wanted a baby. So he did the manly thing and had his vasectomy reversed. Well they tried and tried for months. We worked in very close proxmity to each other and I heard all the different methods, times, and frequency, and positions they tried. He would come into work and cry and complain that she wasn't getting pregnant. One year a good friend was about to marry that we both knew. Unfortunately my firned had plans to go hunting........it's a guy thing.......well his wife showed up at this bachelor party and I'm not sure how many guys were there.....but magically she ended up pregnant, the baby was beautiful and healthy, and dad never found out any differnt...........Keep trying till your hubby goes hunting........then go to a bachelor party
You should start to temp to make sure your ovulating first off. Also you should be having sex when you see egg white cervical mucus, you may be having sex at the wrong time if your not in tune with your body. If you have done all of this you should see your dr.
Like Jeff Foxworthy says, "If you're going to be a failure at something.....

(In other words, that's not a bad thing to be a failure at, since you can keep trying.....)
a dr. told me that you should count 13 days after the last day of your period, and the 13th, 14th, and 15th days are the days that most women are most fertile. that is exaclty what i did and i was pregnant on the 13th day after my period was over.
To correct what has Amanda said, the most fertile time is the 13, 14 and 15th days after the FIRST day of the period, not the LAST day of it.
To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job
