Miscarriage?

My last period was on the 13th August, the next was due on the 10th Sept but nothing happened untill the 21 st of this month and it has been brown/black blood and very light, around the date i was due to have my period i had bad cramps like it was starting but didn't. Have i had a miscarriage early on? We have been trying for a baby for a while, and i have done two hpt's this month and both were negative. Please can anyone help if they know why this has happened?

First of all... you never did have a positive test so don't beat yourself up wondering if you had a miscarrige. From experience I know how hard that can be.

I have had brown periods before.. and yes that is how my miscarriage started, but I have had it before not having a m/c too.

It's just old blood. But if it doesn't turn red in a day or so I would defenatly call the doctor and speak to a nurse about it.
