Was it too early to take a pregnancy test?

Ok my cycle is from 30-34 days its always different....On average 32 days. My last period was 33 days from the one before. Today is day 32 and I took a pregnancy test which came out negative....Was it still too early to test should I have waited until 34?

As long as your periods are exactly 30-34 days every cycle then I say wait until the 35th day and take a test. Use first morning urine that day too. You should know for sure by then. However there are rare cases where HPT won't pick up a week or so later than your missed period. And there are some cases where HPT will never pick up a + but that is extremely rare. Also if you do get a negative I say go to your family doctor or ob/gyn if you still have not started more than a week later and you are still getting negatives. They will do a blood pregnancy test. This will give a definite answer. Oh and just so you know a blood pregnancy test can be done as early as 10 days past ovulation so you could even have one done now since you are already due for your period. Good luck!
