How long after your expected period should you take a pregnancy test? and is it likely I am pregnant?

My period was supposed to start 8/1 and it still has not started. I took as test on the 4th, 7th and this morning and they were all negative. Is there still a possibility that I could be pregnant since it is 2 weeks late? I had a misscarriage in May. I called the doctors office and they just said to take a test every week until my period begins.

if ur period is two weeks late it would mean that if u r pregnant - u would be about 3 - 4 weeks along. but since u took the test and they negative. it can be a number of things

u took the test wrong.

u need to take a blood test instead because hormones has not shown in urine.

or u may have some other prob.

either way check a gynochologist doc as soon a possible. cause ur doc prob does not seem to think u important enough to bother with.

Don't bother with OTC pregnancy tests they are a waste of money!!!! Get a blood test from your doctor. I had a regular period 6 months into my 1st pregnancy and I took numerous OTC pregnancy tests and they were all negative. But I knew I was pregnant.
