Has anyone gotten pregnant having a blockage in 1 tube and how?
Answers:
in 1995 i got pregant for the first time after trying for 6 years, then i find out my left tube was blocked, and i was pregant in my tube and there was no way the baby go grow in the tube so my doctor did surgery and removed my left tube, but with only one tube you still ovalate, actually the truth is one month your egg comes from your left tube then the next month your right, my doctor told me it may just take longer to get pregant and if i did i had a 50/50 chance of having a miscarriage, but you know doctors dont know everything 2 months later i was pregant and all together had a total of 3 girls, but if you know your tube is blocked go in and get i taken care of it depends on how bad it is they might not have to take your tube out they might just can go in and take the scar tissue out, that is what it is that is blocking it, scar tissue, see i didnt know untill after i gotten pregant the first time that mine was blocked, so i lost that baby, so dont take any chances get it corrected before getting pregant

You don't get around a blocked tube. It seems that you are on the right path though. Fertility drugs and AI are a good start to ensure pregnancy. Plenty of people have had children with one working ovary and one testicle. Keep hope and don't stop trying the natural way.
Just because you have a blocked tube doesn't mean that you can't conceive. If the ovary on the unblocked side is still there and functioning there is no need for the artificial insemination process. It is very stress-full and you may have a lesser chance of getting pregnant due to the stress. If you stop worrying about your blockage and just stay positive your chances are just as good to still get pregnant with one tube and ovary. The best of luck to you!

life I had an ectopic preganancy that burst my tube. I got pregnant anyways after that with only one tube. Tubes are only part of the problem most of the time.
Has he had his sperm tested? Friends of ours just did the fertility drugs and 'regular' sex....no need for the AI. Just a thought, and be prepared for twins.
Yes, *many* women have gotten pregnant with a blocked tube. It happens when you ovulate from the *other* (in your case left) ovary. This will be the case about half the time (but almost *never* every other month).
Good luck!!
