Is it ok to have intercourse a day or two after ovulation when you're trying to get pregnant?

I was thinking that maybe it would hurt chances of a fertilized egg implanting itself in the uterus.

Answers:
Since sperm can live for about 3 days, and you are trying to conceive, go for it - it can't hurt.

More like Increase the chance of fertilization. Both my pregnancies were unplanned, but OH WHAT FUN IF I HAD BEEN PLANNING! Just F* like Rabbits, you'll be fine, ok not that much because it will decrease his sperm count but start when you are ovulating and go at it for the next few weeks! Don't starve the man Thats for sure!
Its definetly okay. Go for the BD (baby dancing) anytime you can!!!
Don't plan it out to the last second.
I have never heard of anyone actually getting pregnant by setting up a schedule or a chart.
Just relax, and do it all the time.
It will be more fun, and the stress of trying to get pregnant will be gone.
Yes it is ok to have sex a day or two after ovulation since the sperm can tolerate living in you for on average about four days after he ejaculates. Try to have sex at least once a day from 3 days before you ovulate straight to 3 days after you ovulate. This will increase your chances because sometimes you may release an egg a little sooner or a little later than you think. Hint: Raise your hips while having sex (put a pillow under) make sure he is on top and lay down for about 10 minutes after sex to increase your chances.
If you are trying to get pregnant wouldn't it be best to have intercourse WHILE you are ovulating? But to answer your question, yes it is okay to have intercourse. Actually it may increase your chances of concieving because I got pregnant when I had intercourse a week after ovulation. So give it a shot, no harm will come of it.

It won't hurt your chances of getting pregnant at all by having sex after ovulation. If your egg did get fertilized, it changes instantaneously to make it so that no other sperm can get it. Therefore, having extra sperm swimming around in there won't hurt it. Can I make a suggestion? Stressing this much about the little things can make it harder to get pregnant, so just try to enjoy the "trying" time and have fun! Good luck!
Continuing to have sex after ovulation will not hurt the implantation process. It is perfectly safe. And if by some chance, you originally calculated your ovulation date wrong and it turned oout being later than you thought, you'll still be covered. Have sex as much as you want to while TTC! The more sperm that make their way in there, the better chances you have! :)
