I use to have no periods now every month?

USUALLY, women who have irregular cycles are not ovulating, but there are exceptions. Since ovulation test kits don't work for all women and can get stressful and expensive if you have long, irregular cycles, your best bet would be to go to your dr. and get a progesterone test. You'll want to do it late enough in your cycle, though (it's usually recommended at day 21 for people with 28-30 day cycles, you'll want to do it even later if you have longer cycles) because if you have it done too early, it could give you a false report even if you are ovulating but had the test done before ovulation occurred.
it's hard to say. Most women that are ovulating have some time of predicable cycle whether it be 28 days or 36 days. It's best to wait and see what your doc says. Depending on your history and whether you have been on the pill at all will help the doc determine if you are ovulating.
