Clomid and cervical mucus?

Okay...after ttc for 5 months went to dr. and found out I wasn't ovulating. Took my first round of Clomid this month (50 mg days 3-7). I am now cycle day 11 and just got ewcm. Does this mean I am DEFINITELY going to ovulate? I am so excited to finally ovulate again. My dr. appt to check my progesterone levels isn't until next week and I'm wondering. Serious answers only please.

No, it doesn't. It means your body is *preparing* for ovulation. Sometimes something (stress usually) interferes and you never do ovulate--or you ovulate a few days or weeks later. However, if you are on clomiphene, the egg white is a good sign, as the drug can, in some cases, dry up cervical fluid.

Well, nothing is a definate, but it sounds very likely. To get your hopes up a little, I conceived the first month of Clomid on 50mgs :)
