Does anyone know why conceiving in the first month is harder?
Answers:
I'm not really sure about this, but I'm betting it has something to do with during the first cycle you are really getting to know your body and trying to figure out fertile times and when to time intercourse etc.
If you just came off birth control it is hard to get pregnant the first month following you quitting your bc because the synthetic hormones have to leave your body completely, THEN your body has to start cyclying on its own, and there is where it can take time. Around the third month your body should be already on a normal cycle. I took the pill for 6.5 years got my period 6 weeks after I quit the pill and got pregnant during that first cycle, but not everyone is the same. It depends on your body and on the type of birth control you used.
