I'm on day 19 of my cycle and I still haven't ovulated. What could it be?

I usually ovulate around day 17 as I have a 34 day cycle. I've taken an ovulation kit test every day for the last 10 days and there hasn't even been a faint line on the test indictating I was close to ovulating. I'm not pregnant because I've taken two pregnancy tests to see. Is it possible I'm having an anovulatory period? I've taken my temperature everyday and it ranges from 96.9 to 97.4 being the highest.. I'm usually pretty regular but now I'm worried.

Answers:
If you have a 34 day cycle, you are probably ovulating on day 20. You almost ALWAYS start your period 14 days after you ovulate. It's the days between your period and ovulation that can flucuate, not the other way around. I used an ovulation predictor kit the month I got pregnant with my daughter, and it never gave me a positive. So, I would pay more attention to your clear and stretchy cervical mucus than anything else. Good luck!
First of all you might want to ask your doctor about taking clomid if you are not ovulating. I didn't ovulate until day 20, so it's not that unusual. The doctor can give you a progesterone blood test around day 24 and they will be able to use those results to tell you whether or not you ovulated that month. Best of luck!
