How long does someone have to be off birth control to get pregnant?
Answers:
My doctor told me to be off the pill for atleast 6 months to make sure it is all out of your system. However, some will get pregnant right away and others it takes a while. It just depends on the person and their reproductive organs.
Other Answers:
It depends on the form of birth control. For non-hormonal methods, you can get pregnant 10 minutes after you stop using it.
For hormonal birth control, it's more complicated Every woman is different. For some women, it's a day (1 missed pill); for others it's a full year. Rarely, it causes permanent infertility.
