2 weeks late on my period - normal?

I am 2 weeks late on my period and doc told me that is ok as i removed my coil last month - but i dont think this is normal! i feel bloated and have constant period cramps

Did a preg test but was negative when i was 5 days late

Answers:
I would go to the doctor and have a blood test done. A blood test will show if you are pregnant or not 6 days after conception and is 100% accurate..

You could re-test with a HPT but use first morning urine as it contains the highest levels of the pregnancy hormone.

Also your period could be late due to the coil or stress

Good luck

If your scared... take another pregnancy test... it wont hurt you and it'll ease your doubts.

MYSELF/FAMILY/WEB SITES I believe it is natural. i think you are irregular of having your periods. I know women are irregular they feel the same way as you do so don't worry about too much. Everything will be okay.

I know from experience from ex girlfriends.

its normal... sometime my period expired 3 month....
normal..... Either you took the pregnancy test too early (tests have a high number of false negatives before you are a full week late), or your period is just late. Think back 3-5 weeks ago--was there some special stress in your life? You may have ovulated late; this would cause your period to appear to be late, too (although actually it is *always* right on time--about 2 weeks after you ovulate).

If you did ovulate late, not only would your period be late if you didn't get pregnant, you would have trouble getting a positive pregnancy test if you *did* because when you thought you were testing when your period was 5 days late, you may have been testing when your period wasn't due yet...
