should i ask my doctor for a dnc?

you see about 8 month ago i have a misscarrage and every since then my period has been messed up. I have told my doctor but he said i didn't have a misscarriage. but yet the er doctor said I was about 3 weeks preg, I have already told my obgyn and she really didn't say anything. what should I do? I have appointment on the 24 do you think I should ask for an dnc.

Well, the doctor can give you and ultrasound and find out if there maybe anything left in you from the miscarriage. If, there is, you could ask for the abortion pill which is much, much less painful than a D and C. A doctor will also be able to determine if you really were pregnant or not. Your periods may just be changing, as they go through different phases all the time.

It took a long time before my periods were all straight after my miscarriage and I had a DNC so I am not sure after 8 months if it would help or not. Maybe you could try finding a different dr? Good luck.
